Caraway is a spice or karwiya very aromatic. In Tunisia, it goes very well with tabeul.

Finely ground, caraway is often used in many types of Tunisian salads (including one with carrots and potatoes) but also in the traditional chouchouka or in stuffings for meat and also in the harissa.

Caraway / karwiya sold by Oriental Souk comes directly from Tunisia, where the spice is ground and prepared homemade, by hand.
